[ Ichiru's leaning against the wall of the Devil's Nest, keeping himself grounded but he was dizzy. He's not going to lie, Zero had taken a significant amount of blood from him and it left him more or less helpless and exhausted. His neck still throbbed even though it wasn't bleeding anymore. The fox ears and tail were curled around his body trying to keep from exposing too much. ]

[The deep hues of his eyes glowed eerily. He was not going to let Zero escape with this. Shizuka might just teach him the lesson he finally deserves.

He inched closer to Ichiru. No smile appearing on his face. No pity. Just a cold gaze as he gently pulled Ichiru from where he was sitting and into his arms.]

I didn't want Zero to go after Shizuka-sama.

[ That's why he met him in the first place. Zero would have sought him out and caused damage in his current state. At least according to Ichiru anyway. He doesn't have much energy to fight her or argue his justifications but he did it for her and his own reasons. His brother had always been stronger than him. Even if he tried, he would not have succeeded either way. ]

Do as you see fit, Shizuka-sama. I have been careless.

[Perhaps having a male body had its advantages. It was significantly easier to carry Ichiru without the need to dive into her vampiric powers. She closed her eyes, and soon, petals rose around them. And soon, she found herself back within their yard.]

I will have to teach Zero a lesson as well. He will have to pay for his little misbehaviour.

Yes, I'm quite aware of what I have...done.

[ He replied giving no excuses for his own actions. They were his and his own. Even if Shizuka opposed it, he was always a bit disobedient on his own accord. After all, she did say she didn't enjoy a puppet. He was anything but a puppet with strings. It might bode well with her but he loved her and he would do anything he could to protect her with his own strength, weak or not. ]

It doesn't seem like many people have the right mindset. I'm certain his behaviour was out of character.

[Shizuka rested Ichiru's body slowly on her bed as she kept her body on top of his. Ichiru was strong. He just didn't know it. But Ichiru was strong in matters which she found herself to be weak in.]

[She said with a low tone before he gave Ichiru a gentle kiss to push his head towards the pillow.]

[ It's a little painful to talk because of the lack of blood and how harshly he was being fed on. Not that he was blaming Zero for it. He knew when it was over, it would be something that his brother will mull over, while he seemed to not care. He stayed as strong as he could in this situation, anyway. ]

It's unnecessary. Shizuka-sama doesn't need to dirty Shizuka-sama's hands.

[Though lacking in its usual warmth because of his blood loss, Shizuka still enjoyed kissing Ichiru's soft lips. She had a smile on her face as she parted from his lips. Then Shizuka just looked at him for a moment, before she quickly lifted her fingers and ripped her right jugular vein. Enough for blood to trickle from her neck but still require effort from Ichiru's lips.]
